The long-awaited English-speaking version of our (native French) website is finally here, up and running! Well, sort of... Beware of some poorman's translations! See, we mainly used some automated online translator, and the result is sometimes... quite surprising, to say the least. So good luck when trying to understand our English!
On our site, you will find many infos and pictures about the scenes that were deleted from the John Milius movie, and various articles that we dedicated to different subjects related to the film.

- As a special gift for the new year, we give you the 1978 script version drafted by Oliver Stone, the one that got John Milius definitely interested in the project and made him realize that a Conan movie could be made. Enjoy!

- What is steel compared to the hand that wields it? A very sad news to end the year with: Jody Samson, the man who created the Atlantean and Father's Swords for the original CONAN THE BARBARIAN movie (alongside with Ron Cobb and Tim Huchthausen), passed away on Saturday December 27th, 2008 at the age of 62. More info can be seen on his website, www.jodysamson.com (Thanks to Edward for the heads up)

- A new teaser poster for the upcoming new CONAN movie produced by Millennium Films and Lionsgate surfaced today. And, once again, homage is paid to the John Milius original film, through the proeminent use of the Atlantean Sword (in a rather strange EXCALIBUR-like composition).

- William Stout, the genius who co-designed the world of CONAN THE BARBARIAN with Ron Cobb, doesn't need any introduction. We had a lot of questions for him, and he very kindly agreed to answer some of them. Here is the first installment of our exclusive conversation with him. …………………………………………………………………………… .November 1, 2007
- The very first teaser poster for the new CONAN movie currently in development at Nu Image/Millennium Films has just been revealed yesterday at the American Film Market and, by Crom, it pays homage to the Milius movie (while getting inspired by some previously used artwork - cf. our "Oddities" gallery)!

- Like us, you were probably left wondering who exactly was the mysterious "Conan Angelo" from Aspen that Schwarzenegger and Milius mention in their audio commentary on the DVD (when Conan and his friends are confronted with some unfriendly cavemen, during their escape from Thulsa Doom's Orgy Chamber). We managed to get in contact with the man, and, surprise, he is a great fan of the barbarian! You can now read the first part on his ongoing log where he remembers the shooting of CONAN right here. …………………………………………………………………………… .August 21, 2007
- Here it is, at last: the English version of the article that Chrysagon from "Les Chroniques Nemediennes" wrote for us, listing all the things from the CONAN movies that come from the R.E. Howard novels! Read it right here. …………………………………………………………………………… .September 15, 2007
- Emilio Ruiz del Rio, the award-winning Spanish special effects wizard who (among other wonders) created the fantastic foreground miniatures for CONAN THE BARBARIAN, died tonight in a Madrid hospital, at the age of 84, of respiratory failure.

- New exclusive interview: of Pilar Alcón, a Spanish actress who was an extra during the shooting of the orgy sequence. But not a random extra: she was the one slave girl that Conan originally killed with his sword, in a scene that was later edited out of the final cut (you can read more about this right here). We also added some pics of her in this new gallery. …………………………………………………………………………… .January 16, 2007
- ConanCompletist is on YouTube! We already posted three exclusive videos: a reconstruction of the infamous Christmas '80 teaser that never was; the deleted King Osric death scene, that we put together with some music added on it; and, last but not least, a slow-mo mini-clip of the only two remaining shots of the pitfighter girl who was killed by Conan in the arena... More to come soon!

- Today, we have something really exclusive: the Oliver Stone script review is finally here, as promised! I say "exclusive", because, besides the one that was posted on Ain'tItCoolNews, you won't be able to find any other one on the net. So, many thanks to Cromulus who took the time to write the review for us... In the meantime, we offer you another article focusing on the real influences the R.E. Howard novels had on the Milius movie, together with the "Les Chroniques Némédiennes" website. What a team! …………………………………………………………………………… January 20, 2006
- Coming soon on conancompletist: a (very long!) (and very) exclusive review of the Oliver Stone draft of the CONAN screenplay.
- Further articles are already on their way and should be online very soon...
