Spanish actor Aldo Sambrell was supposed to play Yaro. He was listed on the very early version credits of CONAN (1980/81). The Yaro character was still to be included in the movie, but was scaled down for the shooting script. In fact, Milius didn't completely write out the character until when Sambrell didn't show up for work the day his scene was to be shot. Milius fired him on the spot and wrote Yaro out of the film obviously. He had Ben Davidson fill in the scene as Rexor, as the High Priest instead now. So, as far as I know, Aldo Sambrell was not in the movie at all. He would have been the Zamorian priest in the Tower of Set. And was to be killed by Conan during the escape from the Mountain of Power, near a waterfall bridge (that whole sequence was a lot longer and stretched out than what we see in the movie).
