Though, in the KING CONAN: CROWN OF IRON script, Conan wears it again and the Ice Witch wants it. So perhaps Milius was intent on having the "Eye" play an obvious role in his trilogy? Maybe to bring back the demon god Set?! The "Eyes of Set" were part of the Marvel comic books series and had the magical power that, when combined, they would bring back Set. But just having one "Eye" gave power to its user.
